Julia Trina, a star of “90 Day: The Last Resort,” is facing significant financial difficulties as she struggles to afford her
baby’s medical treatment. Originally from Russia, Julia moved to the U.S. in 2020 to marry Brandon Gibbs from
Virginia. Back in her home country, she worked as a go-go dancer and was also a bodybuilding champion. However,
Brandon expressed his disapproval of her working in a strip club, which created tension between them. Julia later realized that she could not secure a well-paying job in America, leading to further conflicts over their contentious discussions about starting a family.
Julia revealed that she had been informed by her doctor in Russia that she would never be able to have children, adding complexity to her feelings about having a family with Brandon. Following the airing of their episode on “90 Day: The Last Resort,” Julia took to Instagram to share a picture of a veterinary bill after taking her two dogs for a checkup. The receipt showed that she had paid $1,222.64. In her post, Julia lamented, “We just spent our mom’s salary,” and mentioned her interest in collaborating with animal clinics. She used hashtags related to her locations, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, and Norfolk.
During their time at the Arizona resort, Julia and Brandon aimed to address issues they felt uncomfortable discussing on social media, revealing glimpses of troubled times in their relationship through Julia’s emotional selfies and cryptic posts. They opened up about their disagreements over starting a family on the show. After Julia disclosed a secret regarding a past kiss with an ex-boyfriend, Brandon promised they would navigate their issues together. Despite their commitment to each other, it was troublesome that Brandon did not assist Julia with the expensive vet bill. Julia considers her dogs her children, and they share a strong bond with both her and Brandon.
Interestingly, despite being active on social media, Brandon and Julia confirmed they remained together after filming concluded. Julia appears to have funded the vet visit with her earnings from “90 Day Fiancé,” as it is unclear if she has yet secured another job. Brandon, who works as a pest control technician, presumably would have been capable of covering the veterinary expenses. However, the reason for his lack of support and Julia’s need to seek assistance through social media remains a mystery.
Given the trend of past cast members launching fundraising efforts during financial struggles, it raises the possibility that Julia might consider starting a GoFundMe campaign. While some cast members have faced criticism for seemingly taking advantage of their fans through fundraising, many have successfully raised substantial amounts of money with help from supporters. In addition to her financial issues, Julia recently attempted to start her own subscription box business for dogs, though it seems that venture has not yielded the desired success.
