Fans of the hit reality show 90 Day Fiancé have been left stunned by the revelation that Lauren Allen, one of the
show’s stars, came up with the idea of marrying Faith’s mom to get her to the United States. However, it was not his
original intention, but rather a suggestion from the producers that he was asked to pursue.
In a recent TikTok live session, Lauren revealed that he was asked by producers if he could find a way to get Faith to the United States, and he made a list of various options. One of the suggestions was to marry Faith’s mom, which he thought was a viable solution as it would allow him to become her caretaker husband in America, and subsequently bring her children to the country on a parental visa.
Lauren explained that the idea was not his own, but rather a suggestion from producers who wanted him to broach the subject with Faith. “I made this ginormous list of all the different ways, and they said, ‘Well, hold on a minute, you said marry her mom.’ I said, ‘Well, technically that is a way to get her here on a K3 or K1 visa to America…'” Lauren revealed.
The K3 visa is a non-immigrant visa for spouses of U.S. citizens, while the K1 visa is a non-immigrant visa for foreign-born fiancés of U.S. citizens. Lauren’s idea was to use the K3 visa to bring Faith to the United States, and then use a parental visa to bring her children to the country.
Lauren also revealed that he and Faith had a rocky relationship during his time in the Philippines, including a situation where he slept with someone else and gave them gonorrhea. This incident was one of the many issues that contributed to the strain in their relationship.
Despite their rocky relationship, Lauren and Faith are back together, according to recent updates from the show. However, fans are still reeling from the revelation that producers played a significant role in shaping the storyline of the show.
