Tiger Lily Taylor, a star from 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, recently opened up about the tension between
Adnan Abdul Fata and Niles Valentine following their explosive confrontation at the tell-all reunion. Their
interactions during the reunion had sparked considerable drama, prompting Tiger Lily to shed light on how relations
have evolved since that moment.
Adnan and Tiger Lily, who got married in Season 8 after a brief four-month courtship, have experienced a rocky relationship, with Adnan often portrayed as controlling. During the reunion, his domineering nature was evident as he met the cast for the first time. Despite the tension, Niles did not hesitate to stand up to Adnan, challenging his behavior on the stage. Amid this conflict, there were indications that Adnan may have been attempting to offer financial assistance to Niles when he interrupted Niles’ segment with Matilda NTI on Instagram.
In response to fan questions about the incident, Tiger Lily clarified that it was her husband, Adnan, who continuously interrupted Niles during his segment. She revealed that they were actually trying to surprise Niles and his wife, Matilda, emphasizing that they weren’t seeking Niles’ approval of their relationship but rather respect for it. When Niles failed to provide that respect, Tiger Lily concluded that “the ship has sailed” regarding their relationship.
The tell-all took a significant turn when Adnan interrupted a discussion about the distance between Niles and Matilda, making the conversation revolve around himself. Niles was sharing how he was saving up $4,000 for Matilda’s spousal visa and expressing Matilda’s desire for him to visit her in Ghana, even if it meant dipping into that savings. Adnan, however, interjected by asking Niles to respect him and his relationship with Tiger Lily, thereby shifting the focus away from Niles’ concerns.
Feeling frustrated, Niles retorted, “We’re not talking about you right now,” and exited the stage in emotional distress. During their exchange, Adnan claimed he wished the best for Niles and Matilda but felt disrespected by Niles regarding his marriage. He prompted Niles to be nice, noting the presence of Niles’ father. Earlier, the host Shan Robinson had asked Adnan whether Niles should continue saving for the visa or fly to Ghana to see his wife. Many interpreted Adnan’s behavior as having ulterior motives, potentially aiming to humiliate Niles and assert dominance in their interaction. Sensing this, Niles opted to walk off instead of accepting what he perceived to be a power play disguised as an offer of financial help.
