Controversial 90 Day Fiancé Couple Begs Fans For Money Yet Again For Hospital Bills After Being Caug

A couple from the reality TV show “90 Day Fiance: The Other Way”, Brandon and Mary, have been caught asking for

money from fans while claiming a medical emergency. This is not the first time 90-day-fiance couples have reached

out to fans for monetary help, with some even including cast members who are financially well-off. For example,

Michael Ilany received more than $52,000 through fans on GoFundMe after claiming he escaped an allegedly abusive relationship, and Josh Weinstein asked for money when his son lost his leg in an accident.

A Facebook post from the Deno fan blog revealed that Brandon and Mary had shared a humble request for financial assistance with their fans. According to the post, Mary’s grandfather, lovingly referred to as Lola, was currently in a private hospital after being diagnosed with TB and pneumonia. The couple claimed that they weren’t able to cover all of Lola’s medical bills, despite having health insurance that didn’t cover much of the expenses. Mary mentioned that if fans were willing to help them, it would mean the world to them.

However, many fans were suspicious of the couple’s intentions, given their past behavior. In February 2024, they had announced that Lola had colon cancer and started a fundraising page so fans could help them pay for surgery to remove Mary’s colon cancer. However, it was later revealed that Mary had made a mistake and didn’t actually have cancer. Fans had already sent her money for her operation, but it was too late to get a refund. Mary later admitted that she had made a mistake and claimed that she had posted about having colon cancer without thinking, after having an anxiety attack.

The latest fundraising plea for Lola’s medical bills may be difficult for Mary to convincingly make, given her history of fabricating medical emergencies for financial gain. Many fans of the show, including Karen Whitmore, questioned the couple’s credibility, pointing out that they “lost credibility a long time ago.” Brandon and Mary seem to be struggling to make ends meet after their time on the show ended, having attempted to make money through personalized video calls and selling products on social media, but with little success.

It appears that Mary and Brandon have lost relevance and fans after the fake cancer scare. Fans are urging Mary to find different ways to make money that don’t make her and Brandon look like scammers. Many people who have been affected by serious medical conditions, including cancer, have taken to social media to criticize Mary’s behavior, stating that she should not be using her platform to manipulate fans into sending her money.
