Lita Margara has recently been in the news for all the wrong reasons, years after her last appearance on “90 Day
Fiancé” Season 6 alongside American man Eric Rosenbrook. She claimed to have worked as a model and clinician,
stating that she graduated from medical school in Indonesia. However, rumors spread that Lita fled Indonesia to
escape a tarnished reputation and start anew after being involved in an alleged car crash.
At 40 years old, Eric met Lita, who was 11 years his junior, on a dating website. Her tall tales made it difficult for reality TV fans to warm up to her, ultimately leading to her gaining a “villain” status among the show’s viewers for the way she treated Eric’s daughter, Tasha. Even after their time on reality TV ended, Lita and Eric continued to shock fans with their antics, including a troubling incident where Lita allegedly threatened to harm herself with a knife.
Rumors of a divorce have circulated, yet as of 2025, Eric and Lita appear to still be married. During Season 6 of “90 Day Fiancé,” Lita and Eric made headlines when they kicked Tasha out of his two-bedroom apartment. Eric often sided with Lita, who threatened to return to Indonesia if her demands were not met, which led him to damage his relationship with his daughter. Complications arose when Lita felt overwhelmed by Tasha’s continued presence in the house and Eric’s refusal to buy her new furniture, pushing her to the brink of ending the relationship.
In a surprising turn of events, Lita was granted a four-year restraining order against Tasha. However, in April 2024, it was reported by InTouch that Lita had reunited with Tasha, now known as Alari Stark, at the latter’s wedding. Lita shared her congratulations on Instagram and posted a joyful selfie with Alari, marking a significant reconciliation.

Lita’s troubles took a more serious turn when she was arrested in October 2023 on theft and wire fraud charges. The owners of Loggerhead Deco in Portage accused her of stealing thousands of dollars, alleging that she made fraudulent payments and withdrawals while working as a bookkeeper for the company. By December 2024, the felony fraud and theft charges were dismissed. However, in January 2025, Lita faced new charges, including domestic violence while armed, mistreating an animal, disorderly conduct, and felony bail jumping.
A police report following Lita’s 2025 arrest revealed she was pregnant. While speaking with police officers, she mentioned that she had PTSD, anxiety, OCD, and depression, for which she was taking medication. Lita stated that she was six months pregnant at the time. As she navigates her legal issues and marital complications with Eric, she has yet to make an official announcement regarding her pregnancy.
