As we enter the week of February 10 to 14, Jason returns to town after spending several days in Germany visiting
Michael. He is stunned to find himself at the center of a rumor that he is the father of Sasha’s child. Before he
confronts Cody, the leaker of this information, to settle the score, he discusses a few matters with Sasha. The rumor
spreads rapidly throughout town, and Jason realizes he won’t be able to quell the gossip in just a day or two. Rather than denying the rumor, he claims he will accept responsibility for Michael’s sake. This move not only frees Michael from suspicion but also provides Sasha with a sense of security. It will be interesting to see if Sasha agrees with Jason’s decision.
Meanwhile, Jason also spends quality time bonding with his son, Danny. It’s not hard to picture Danny confiding in his father about his suspicions that Cyrus is responsible for his mother’s death. With the immature perspective typical of a teenage boy, Danny hopes that Jason will take action against Cyrus. In another subplot, Joss encounters difficulties in finding evidence to prove Cyrus’s wrongdoing. Aware that he is a suspect to both the police and some townsfolk, Cyrus has already devised a backup plan for himself. There is a looming fear that if Joss delves deeper into her investigation, she may face significant risks and dangers. While Brennan offers her support, it remains uncertain just how far Cyrus might go to protect himself.
Shifting focus to Sonny, he makes his return to town after a medical trip to Eloy. Nina arrives to share crucial information with him, including her scheme to eliminate Drew from their lives. Nina is more determined than ever to push Drew out of Willow’s and the children’s orbit. She successfully persuades Carly to join her in this plan but recognizes that she also needs Sonny’s assistance for quicker results. Nina suggests that the mob boss should prioritize the children’s interests; eliminating Drew could also serve as a way for Sonny to avenge his son Michael.
As Cody offers Sasha a heartfelt apology, Chase finds himself in need of someone to confide in. Fortunately, Willow is available to listen. Throughout the week of February 17 to 21, viewers are left wondering if there is a possibility for Chase and Willow to rekindle their relationship, especially as secrets involving their respective partners start to surface. On the other hand, Brooklyn struggles with whether or not to disclose to her husband about her first child. Since Chase is a detective, there are valid reasons for him to suspect his wife of dishonesty. Meanwhile, Metalia will receive a new quest from Sidwell, leaving questions about the nature of their relationship and what challenges might lie ahead.
