While many fans may be eagerly awaiting Michael’s return to the “90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After” franchise, I do

not believe he should make a comeback. Michael initially met Angela Dean through Facebook, and after dating

online for some time, they eventually met in person in Nigeria. Although their first meeting on the show was

enjoyable, they quickly became one of the worst couples in the franchise, in my opinion. Michael’s actions, such as cheating on Angela, resulted in significant trust issues in their relationship. I was disheartened to see Angela continuously giving Michael chances, even after he consistently demonstrated untrustworthy behavior.

Over the years, I learned about Michael’s infidelities as he flirted with other women online. I thought that Angela would finally end the relationship when she discovered Michael’s questionable WhatsApp Visa group and secret funds, but she ultimately forgave him and brought him to the United States on a spousal visa. However, Michael only lived with her for three months before unexpectedly leaving her home. He has since settled in Texas, while Angela is trying to have him deported. Now that Michael is single, many fans have been anticipating his comeback for “90 Day: The Single Life” in search of true love after a tumultuous relationship with Angela that lasted over seven years.

I believe that both Angela and Michael deserve to find happiness after their separation; however, I do not think a man with Michael’s questionable character should be featured on reality TV again. His lack of integrity and accountability has been repeatedly evident in different spin-offs, making it unenjoyable for me to watch him return to the franchise. While I believe in unconditional love despite some questionable relationships in the “90 Day Fiancé” franchise, it is clear that Michael never truly loved Angela. His actions over the past seven years suggest that he was using her to gain entry into the United States.

I agree that Angela’s verbally abusive behavior towards Michael was out of line, but I believe he remained quiet because his ultimate goal was to gain entry into America and then leave her. While Angela is often accused of being abusive, Michael’s deceitful behavior and infidelity frequently go unnoticed. I choose to judge Michael based on his actions rather than Angela’s behavior, considering his consistent dishonesty and manipulative tactics to secure a visa. As such, I am not interested in watching his love story unfold on the show. I wish him well but have no desire to invest my valuable time watching him potentially find true love after mistreating Angela for so long.

I am not alone in finding Michael to be problematic; even “90 Day Fiancé” producers reportedly consider him a troublemaker and are not interested in hiring him again, especially without Angela involved. According to an Instagram post from @KikiandKibbitz, Angela claimed that Michael won’t be appearing in any spin-offs due to his troublesome behavior. She mentioned that producers seek drama but do not want trouble like Michael. Despite being featured in various “90 Day Fiancé” spin-offs and being on TV for over six years, I believe they continue to be asked back because Angela can capture and hold the audience’s attention. Her mercurial personality makes the show captivating, while Michael lacks the loud and dramatic personality needed to create intense moments.

I was truly saddened when Michael left Angela only three months after arriving in the United States. He has shown no interest in reconciling or giving their relationship another chance. Instead, he hid money from her and was involved in a questionable visa group. Even after ending things with Angela, I have noticed that Michael seems interested in being on TV, as he hasn’t found a steady job and appears to be using his newfound fame for attention. He left Angela claiming he wanted a peaceful life away from drama, yet I now see him embroiled in a life filled with scandals. For example, a few months ago, he was accused of sleeping with a married woman, and in July 2024, he was allegedly involved in a car accident, reportedly admitting it was his fault.

These reports indicate that leaving Angela may have been his plan all along, using her aggressive attitude as an excuse to exit the relationship. While Michael tries to portray a positive image in public, rumors about his relationships with women continue to circulate online. Recently, a Twitter user shared a screenshot of a direct message claiming that Michael is in a love entanglement. Reportedly still legally married to Angela, Michael is alleged to have cheated on her and gotten his alleged mistress pregnant. In light of this, I am no longer interested in watching Michael on “90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After.” It seems he is more interested in having an anchor baby in America than genuinely searching for love.
