Rob War, a recognizable face from the popular reality series “90 Day Fiancé,” has recently shared an emotional
update regarding his furry friend, Rome, who has been diagnosed with a serious health condition. The
announcement comes as Rob navigates his split from Sophie Siera, with whom he starred in Season 10 of the
franchise.
The Los Angeles-based star initially met UK model and content creator Sophie through Instagram. However, their relationship faced significant challenges, particularly after Rob’s infidelity led to a deep breach of trust. Their marriage ultimately lasted only a few months, with Sophie moving out of their shared home in May 2023. Despite attempts at couples therapy during a stay at an Arizona resort, the couple was unable to mend their relationship satisfactorily.
Recently, Rob took to Instagram to inform his followers about Rome’s health issues. He revealed that the growth on Rome’s lips has raised concerns for lymphoma—specifically, epitheliotropic lymphoma, a rare and aggressive skin cancer in dogs. In his post, Rob explained that this type of T-cell lymphoma generally affects older dogs, typically ranging from 8 to 10 years in age, with an average survival time of approximately 8 months to 1.5 years.
In the comments section of his post, supportive fans flooded in with messages of encouragement and prayers for Rome. One user, Endel Wood, expressed hope, stating, “Praying for your son,” while another, Liverscore Ncore Lore Life, urged Rob to cherish the moments he has with his beloved pet.
Rob first alerted his followers about Rome’s health in early January 2024, sharing a video from the vet’s office where he expressed a heartfelt plea for prayers for his “baby boy.” Rome, an important part of Rob’s life, was featured during his storyline in Season 10, where Sophie briefly moved to Los Angeles to live with Rob. The pet has been a constant companion for Rob, even accompanying him when he relocated to Texas.
Despite the challenges of filming during the reality show, Rob had kept Rome away from the cameras. Now, as he faces the possibility of extensive tests and treatments for Rome’s condition, he is open to reaching out to fans for support—something that has become a common practice among “90 Day Fiancé” alumni during difficult times.
While Rob and Sophie have officially parted ways, he is reportedly back in Los Angeles, focusing on his dog’s treatment. Following their breakup, Rob has been rumored to be linked to Jennifer Terona, though their relationship status remains unclear.
Fans continue to rally behind Rob, sharing their experiences and offering prayers as they hope for a positive outcome for Rome’s health. Amid personal struggles, Rob’s current priority seems clear: to make the most of the time he has with his cherished companion.
